Baby Wonton's 1st Birthday Party
To celebrate our sweet little Brons we threw him a Chinese Food themed birthday party in honor of his womb name "Baby Wonton". Our party was a little unorthodox being that it was 4 months late (hence the "one-ish") due to the coronavirus and trying to keep everyone safe by postponing his previously March scheduled party, but we made do and it was rather adorable if I do say so myself!
Of course we ate lots of Chinese Food at a local place here in Sultan and Brons looooved his egg rolls. We snacked on fortune cookies and Botan rice candies. Oh I love those edible wrappers they come in!
For dessert, we had cupcakes that I had made to look like Chinese food- chow mein and fried rice. Brons mowed down on a fried rice looking cupcake (the more appetizing looking of the 2 choices for a 1 year old) and Dadda even gave him a second!
Our Chopstick Challenge had the kids attempting to pick up marshmallows with their chopsticks to their take out boxes. Swiggy's went straight to his mouth :)
Brons was so adorable opening his presents and exclaiming enthusiastically with a loud "W000000AAAAAWWWWW!" and proudly showing everyone his new toys.
Brons you are sucha blessing to our family. You are curious to learn about every new thing, you adore your big sister, you love sharing food with others and even love sharing your toys. Your smile just breaks me. Your giggle gets me. Your desire to speak by attempting to communicate in your own language fascinates me. I’m trying so hard to hold on to all the snuggles and tight squeezes and every last voluntary “head down” you do on my shoulder. You are such a lover and it’s evident to everyone who knows you. I’m so proud to call you our son. Happy birthday sweet boy!
